Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Accountable app, operated by TechRapha LLC. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
The service
Accountable lets you set goals, commit to practices, and share your progress with small circles of people you choose. The app is currently offered as a beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed as it matures, and availability is not guaranteed.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old. You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for activity that happens under your account. One person per account.
Your content
You own what you create: check-ins, notes, posts, photos, voice notes, and goals. By posting content into a circle, you grant us the limited license needed to store it and display it to that circle's members, which is the entire purpose of the app. We claim no other rights to your content. You can export your own notes from any circle, and deleting your account removes your content as described in the Privacy Policy.
Circles and conduct
Circles are small communities built on trust. You agree not to use Accountable to harass, threaten, demean, or deceive other members; not to post content that is illegal, infringing, or abusive; and not to attempt to access circles or data you're not a member of. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Not professional advice
Accountable supports habits and commitments. It is not a medical, mental-health, financial, or legal service, and nothing in the app constitutes professional advice. If you use the app alongside recovery or health practices, it complements — never replaces — professional care.
Termination
You can stop using Accountable and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechRapha LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (currently zero — the beta is free).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll note it in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
